Hailstorm in Montérégie

On July 17, 2012, the Montérégie region was hit by a severe hailstorm, causing major damage to the cars and homes of area residents.

Given the extent of the damage, we went right to work to find the most effective solutions to support brokers in helping get our customers back on track.

We responded to the situation by putting our emergency plan into action and putting fast-tracked, simplified auto claims procedures in place.

We put together a special team of adjusters and appraisers and set up a temporary drive-in site in the region, where policyholders could make a claim, get their vehicle damage evaluated, and have painless dent repairs done on the spot.

These special measures reflect our commitment to policyholders and our determination to go beyond their expectations.
