my Drive evaluates your driving habits via the Intact Insurance App. At your renewal, you can obtain a personalized premium for your car insurance. Our app uses your phone's GPS and motion sensors to assess your driving habits.
Safe drivers can save up to 25%* on their auto insurance premium, whereas drivers who take more risks could see their auto insurance premiums increase by up to 25%*. All principal drivers on your policy can participate in my Drive. For more details, contact your insurance representative.
To be eligible, you’ll need an iPhone with iOS 12 or higher, or an Android version 7.0 or higher. Depending on your model, the performance of my Drive may vary.
Download the Intact Insurance App for free from the App Store or Google Play. Create your profile and agree to my Drive terms and conditions in the app. If you already have the app, depending on your smartphone’s model and settings, it may update automatically, or you may need to update it.
Don't worry! Download the app again and follow the steps to activate my Drive. you can always activate the features at any time on the Overview tab, in the « Included features » section, by selecting “Activate”. You’ll then be able to continue recording your trips, and your driving history will be saved. Don’t forget, if we’re unable to record your trips, this could affect adjustments to your insurance premium.
